5 hours to take-off
Almost time to get in the ol Corolla w/ my bowling ball -sized bag of worldly goods and head on up the road to our first night's stop: Jackpot, Nevada! Three states in one day. Stay tuned for pictures and adventures. Our two bibles for the trip are: "Road Trip USA" and "RoadFood." Add to that I've been a veritable technological genius tonight: synched bluetooth earpiece to my phone, started this blog, installed pedometer software (only problem is I lost my pedometer today), and successfully registered for AppleCare. My two books for the road are brand new publications: "Sum: Forty Tales From the Afterlives" by David Eagleman... and "Heartbreak Cafe" (a novel) by Penelope Stokes. I'm looking at all the stuff I want to take and wondering how I can hide it in the wheel wells so Emma doesn't know I'm taking so much! Stay tuned devoted!

ReplyDeleteLove this technology! Here's an idea - taking photos all the way (starting with one in your driveway if you haven't already left) and we use it as a powerpoint postlude slide show - from coast to coast.
